I shall bow 108 or more bows daily
I bow to the true nature and interconnectedness of all things
I bow to the potential of all humanity to realize peace
And I bow to the reality of humanity's suffering
And I shall recite mantras and see the images that go with them
to change my habit energy
to be a more harmonious human being
for a reduction in pain and suffering around me
And I shall Sit in Meditation, or Wadu
to open myself to the trueness of the the doer of all things, or
The Juingong, the true nature of the uni-verse,
and 'my' connection~my part in it
to be an eye and a mouth and a scribe
a maker of pictures
a perciever of the nature of all things
for the benefit of peace, love, harmony
and the Middle Way
avoiding extremes of ego
to find 'my' Buddha nature, as a human oracle for harmony
And I shall Walk in Meditation
in a rhythm to signify mindful movement
in circles, as all things are in motion
as in Karma
as in Smasara
as in Nirvana
to end the cycles of violence
inherent in selfish arguement
inherent in baseless, selfish suspicion
inherent in wanton desire
inherent in idelness, and waste of human talent
inherent in greed
inherent in ignorance
and inherent in unreborn mind
And I shall pray in promises, a prayer offered before each significant action
before sleep
upon waking
prior to the beauty of meeting with others
before a break of fast
in great thanks to my nourishment
and to its sources in nature
and to its providers
promising to partake of it
for the doing of good and the making of harmony
And I shall read daily of either Scripture and or Dharma
spoken over the centuries from the teaching of
His Holiness, Sidhardtha Gautama
One of Many, but
Our Great Buddha
and the words of
Daeheng Kun Suhnim
Master Thich Nhat Han
His Holiness, The Dalai Lama
Master Suzuki
Master Seung Sahn
And I shall recite mantras to speak to the ill of my mind
to change it to be holy
to change it to leave the crudity of society
find it in the place of harmony
for better love of this soule
and the love and comfort of others
I do this for all
For all is one
and if not, devided
